International Family Forum: Safeguarding and Strengthening Family in the Face of Global Challenges

In Türkiye, the year 2025 has been officially declared as the “Family Year”. Within this framework, the International Family Forum will be organized by the Ministry of Family and Social Services on May 22-23, 2025, at the Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel, under the theme “Safeguarding and Strengthening Family in the Face of Global Challenges”.

The International Family Forum aims to convene high-level officials, experts, and relevant stakeholders with the objective of protecting and strengthening family and marriage institutions, ensuring generational continuity, and sustaining a robust population structure. Furthermore, the Forum aspires to initiate a concrete step towards establishing a unified stance on the protection of the family institution and its core values on international platforms. In this respect, the Forum, featuring participation from both national and international experts, will address issues surrounding family and population policies, as well as the risks and challenges confronting families and future generations. Within the framework of the designated themes, a series of activities are planned, including high-level panels, speaking corners, round table discussions, and exhibitions.
